Ah the beginning.

I have finally started modding my car. It only took, what… 6 years?

I originally bought the car in Aug 2001. A brand spanking new 2002 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS with plans of modding the suspension and eventually installing a turbo. I bought a used Ganzflow air intake in early 2002 and installed it in the dead of winter. Great times. And then I end up buying a house in 2003.

Time flows fast, let me tell you.

So now it is over halfway through 2007; the car has 110,000 miles and there is a few things wrong with the car.

    1. Struts are crazy old and worn. Driver rear is blown.
    2. Rear discs are warped pretty bad, you can really tell once they warm up a bit.
    3. Bushings are old and loose.
    4. Passenger rear wheel bearing is bad.

      I had some vacation time coming up in July, so I went and ahead and ordered a few upgrades for the ride.

        1. Racing Brake H6 (290mm) rear brake upgrade
        2. Tokico D-Spec struts
        3. 02-03 Prodrive Springs
        4. Subaru Group-N strut top mounts for all four corners
        5. Subaru 25mm Front Sway bar

          We shall see just how far this rabbit hole goes.
